Hurnia/Prostate

Been going through what I was told was a prostate infection for six months. Been put on sevral rounds of anti biotics. Symptoms still persist weak urine flow lowered libido do to discomfort straight pain in my balls a genral underlying discomfort. I also noticed a small pea size lump at the top of the shaft of my dick. Been back and forth to doctors with no resolution. Has anyone had a Hurnia that resulted in symptoms that could appear as a Prostate issue? Thank you

The discomfort your feeling sounds like prostatitis which can be very hard sometimes to treat. The pea size lump sounds odd though and may be something entirely different

Thanks Alin .As far as the Prostate ,came to the same conclusion although do get some real Abb and groin pain why I was thinking might be a hurnia.See the Uroligist late this month talk to him. The lump seems to be from what I read a condition that can happen but goes away on its own. Just get diffrent shit goin on and start trying to attribute it to one condition. Thats why people have medical degrees and I don't. But thanks man hope all is well.

read up on sports hernia...the name is misleading because it has nothing to do with a hernia. somewhat new diagnosis is athletes it is painful and causes discomfort in the lower abdominal and groin area. what it actually is is a small tear in lower abdominal muscles where they connect to pelvis. i have had one for 2 years and the pain comes and goes sometimes i wont feel it for weeks and then other days its really bad. the problem can go away with rest but surgery can sometimes be required. as far as finding a doctor you need to see a sports specialist because the only way to diagnose it is by process of elimination as even an MRI cannot see it

The prostate issue would make your penis hurt. I've had prostatitis and it sucks!! I was given antibiotics which seemed to help but it was due to me drinking lots of water and not drinking caffeine or alcohol. Try drinking lots of water and make sure your urine is clear most often. If it is prostatitis the symptoms will go away after a day of this. I've experimented a lot with this to come to this conclusion. The doctors don't know what causes it as it is different in each person. Let me know if it helps, also, ibuprofen before you go to sleep helps. If it is indeed your prostate make sure you get one good ejaculation a day to keep the gland flushed out. If you need more info let me know.
