Amazing. I'll add my experience to the list: I was tested at 330 when I was age 30, never cycled anything. The doc kept telling me that was in normal range, and I asked him if that was a 'normal' value for a 30-year-old. He had to admit that it wasn't.. should be up in the 700 range for that age. He then finally gave me a script. The feeling was like night and day, I felt so much better. I was lucky to get it since docs here in my state are extra conservative and normally just go by the number in the range. I've been on TRT for almost 16 years now.

For anyone else who tests low at a young age, there should be no hesitation from the doc to put you on TRT. If they won't they are not a good doctor, go find another one.

Find a new doc. Obviously this one is not paying attention to other symptoms your having.

Just echoing what others have said. Search for a new doctor. Hopefully you are in a decent sized town and have options as far as providers.

You could ask for another lab test and see what that comes out as, since levels fluctuate throughout the day.

Don't self medicate at your age man. I was in same boat. I basically now have been diagnosed with secondary hypogonadism and am on TRT at 26. My doc has me on HCG and will prescribe clomid and HMG when I want to have kids. HOWEVER (BIG HOWEVER), he first tried a standard HPTA restart protocol that would be insane not to try on someone under 30. That basically means 25-50mg of clomid every day for at least 6-8 weeks. Then you would stop, have a 2-4 week washout period, and retest. If it's good, then the clomid worked. In my case, my pituitary just wasn't responding well and my LH wouldn't increase enough.

Yes, I will agree with the above at your age there is no reason you should be that low, unless of course you abused AAS. Given your statement, I'm not sure if its true or not but then again that’s on you. Going to a specialist, telling that specialist the truth about your prior usage of AAS would be the best route to take. Also, you need to have a full physical, blood work done, etc to rule out any other issues. I have always said that "ANYONE" who is in his/her early 20's should not get involved with AAS. Why because mainly at this age many listen to none professionals advice, such as that gym rats people who are not professionals, who clearly don't have your best interest in their hands and who are not experts. When I was young I abused AAS and I should of known better but then again I was full of pissed and vinegar and I thought that I new it all when in fact I was totally wrong. Take care of your health in your early years of youth so that when you get older your body will take care of you...
