A couple of threads I wanted to post recently..

(1) therea nothing like being pumped in the gym and feeling good hearing a song you like play on the gym speakers and starting flexing and posing during and between sets to the music just loving how awesome the muscles look in the mirror

(2) time off from gear is underrated. I've broken platues and reached my all time high weight, approaching 280lbs, by taking breaks from gear. A month off the gear doesn't cause much of any losses but when you go back on you quickly gain a lot. Props to Bboy for mentioning his use of shirt cycles

(3) as much as getting stronger and lifting heavy is important, so is squeezing, pumping, and attacking the muscle from all angles

i had a sex pistols sid vicious t shirt in 7 grade, I am the coach for the singer of the casualties I am sure you are familiar with them if you are into suicidal tendencies and sex pistols. Sabbath always goes hard, tbh I like dio talent wise but ozzie got some hits, suicidal tendencies kicked it with cholos in orange county like sublime did in long beach , they were a crossover (kind of), some wild shows. nice @ sativa . nice work G keep pushing
Not that familiar with the mike Muir musical family tree. But even still I'll take put them on the playlist and take them for a ride around the block.
When I get back to daygo I want to spar(boxing) some of your heavy weights. I'm 50 but giving some of these youngns problems.

Time to hit a couple miles at the local track. But only after taking a few hits from some strawberry cough.

Do I still have my hair?

Yeah, you might say that. See below LOL. I'm never going bald unless I want to . I used to shave it. My son does the twat knot, bitch bisquit, man bun (whatever TF) type shit but me I just pull it back or let it hang. I look like Kaiser Soze (the Hungarian dude that allegedly killed his family in The Usual Suspects).

My son has long hair and he pulls more tail than I ever did. Course I didn’t have a Corvette either. But still a good lookin' kid nonetheless. But my wife is posted here on the board somewheres. She’ll be plenty hot for the rest of my years. She managed to keep that bod through two kids.

Bloody hell. Don't ask me why but I was damn sure you had long hair in a ponytail!!! 😳

Hair and fingernails go crazy on GH. I also have this huge problem with mega ear wax. I don't know why but my ear wax glands must have androgen receptors bc I have to clean my ears every couple days and even had a drainage tube placed in my ear for inner ear drainage. The tube dissolves on its own but it's still a pain.

The key to long hair as a professional is keeping in clean a well evenly trimmed. Then people just think you're eccentric (or an ethnic thing) but with sharp tie and sport coat, I don't get a second glance. They practically expect it. Just like you did, brother! Makes me feel good to read that. I don't walk the beaten path. Never did.

Peace.

What is this thread about again 🤔
I don't know but some of these posts get me seriously amped up!

p.s. I also do the Sex Pistols, DKs, Ramones, Violent Femmes, Bauhaus, The Smiths, etc... love all that music.

The only other choice is under the back seat if I recall correctly. Some Jeep owners just take out the back seat entirely and pimp them up nicely. I still have 3 passengers unless I'm alone. And I can pull the seat out. With Jeeps, everything is removable. I can even put down the front windshield. The floorboards have drainage holes in case you fill up with water, it drains out, sway bar disconnects for insane off road.I even have a fire hydrant lol. Plus that 4L inline 6cyl AMC engine is no slouch. And they run forever. And with my air flow, we're talking over 180hp for a vehicle that's more engine than is Jeep. Love these things. The chics drive theirs around with stickers that say "Take your top off!".

Parts, labor, no problem. Cheap and easy. Nothing fancy. My Mercedes when I had something to prove was a service nightmare. This is my 5th Jeep now. 3 Cherokee Laredos and 2 Wranglers. Plus a Ford truck, my wife's Toyota, and a Triumph for some cage free driving this summer. 😎

I had a TJ and an XJ still passed I sold them. I'll end up with another eventually. Nothing like raw no frills reliability with off road capability.

I’m in the process of getting a TJ right now to use as a daily driver because my wife doesn’t like the miles I’m already putting on my bronco raptor I just got..the road miles she doesn’t give a shit about..she’s seriously pissed about the amount of off road miles though lol

Lol, yeah I can understand. Off road puts a beating on a vehicle, even if prepped for it. The Bronco is no slouch but I'd hate to see the cost of replacement parts. Vs the TJ is cheap and a lot of parts can be found at pull it yourself yards for cheap. Need an alternator? Find a Mopar between 88 and 2006 and it will probably fit.

Well, the bronco is under warranty for a long time..and my high school friend is the shop foreman and lead service writer to the ford dealership I use..so I’m not worried about that…

Now, when I took my wife’s g wagon surfing and hit the dunes with it? That was an ass chewing lol

Did you know it’s $6k to replace a g wagon wheel bearing assembly? Lol

I'm a huge Smiths and Morrissey fan. But as a nearly 50yo man, with a somewhat quality of life, I no longer relate to Morriseys youthful angst and loneliness of the past. headmasters ritual ? Nope. this charming man ? Nope.
Big mouth strikes again.. maybe.
Now I enjoy the great musicianship of an Andy Rourke bassline or, of course, Johnny Marrs creative riffs.
Now Robert Smith.. I still play all those late 70s - mid80s Cure albums in heavy rotation.
My favorite Cure album of all is Pornography. Everything is in minor key and very very bass heavy. Love it.

I love those "Trilogy" albums. When they released their latest album they said they had already produced a more somber companion album. Must have been 10 years ago, I'm still waiting.

Re: still waiting

I get it... I mean how somber can you get with an 8-9 figure bank account and a steady stream of 6 figure royalty checks coming in every quarter.

Anything on the G is crazy expensive. It's capable for what it is. But I'd only get one for the tax write off lol

Going to see the Cure in June. Pornography is definitely one of the best albums. I like a lot of aggressive music, but love the old goth/ synthpop stuff. Big Alen Walder time period Depeche mode fan as well.

My wife got it when she became a surgeon as a gift to her self..put 5,000 miles on it and got a 2500 duramax..it was just parked and my truck was having some warranty work done..so, I took it adventuring!

We’ve since sold that piece of shit..I really didn’t like the g wagon

Just had some nice weather days and driving with the jeep top down doors off jamiin' Kill 'Em All (No Remorse, Seek And Destroy, Motorbreath, etc), Ten-Thousand Fists, fucking Hail To The King. The last model of Wrangler I liked (TJ), mint condition, only 90k miles, suspension lift, Mopar flares, black Rubi rims... No shirt, shades, hair in the breeze. I felt untouchable. Even at 50. Old grey-haireds driving convertible Jags and Ferraris. Nope.

Who were the girls whistling at and talking to? Can't believe I still got game. Not bragging, just a good drive that I really really needed.
Feel that I’m never in a car again I’m still early 40s but I’m in a lifted Texas XLT F-150 all windows down radio up state of mind, like the TJ my last way a 76 CJ that was on 36s and man that was fun. Windows down is great, doors and top off is beast
