Hey all! Ive missed you all. Im back to it after a 10 year absence 'cause of life. Im 60 yrs old and will be starting a prescribed TRT with my GP. Everything Ive seen allows for only 100 a week of cyp. Would anyone have suggestions for me on moving forward using a GP rather than a urologist or a endocrinologist? Thanx!

I’ve had it prescribed through a GP and and endo. The endo is way better and realizes how silly it is that we’ve got to jump through all these hoops just to get some test! Doctors will prescribe estrogen to teenagers. Yet us dudes that need some hormone replacement get bashed and looked at like we’re some kind of addict! It’s really silly but in my opinion the endo has been more understanding than any GP I’ve had. He’s more expensive and less available though. But also more willing to up the dose.

If my health insurance wasn’t dog crap I would definitely use a specialist but right now I’m stuck with my GP. Definitely feel like I’m the one doing the doctoring unfortunately

Urologist for me the last year. I get 200mg a week of cyp. Ai if I need it. I add 200 mast dose daily. Stay around 900-1000.

200 mg test and 200 mg mast per week with .5 mg arimidex EOD works great for me

I wish I could get my doc to prescribe mast. It’s probably cheaper to get it somewhere else though

I had to swap to Nolva from Arimidex. 10mg 2 x week. Arimidex was killing my joints. I wish didn’t need it at all but gyno will swell up.

I just recently realized my e2 is low so I have dropped the arimidex. I will check all hormones again to see what everything looks like on 200 mg test and 200 mg masteron with no AI.
