I did a quick Google search using the term " studies" to try and not just get a bunch of opinion articles or biased info and everything said faucet water is more than fine. They pointed out that tap water is subject to testing where bottled water is not. This is in the USA no idea about a third world country probably different.

Drinking water regulations are put in place to ensure you don’t get sick “today”. Every bit of the process to make drinking water safe for consumption today has some sort of reaction that may or may not have long term effects. As pollution in all aspects becomes more of a problem, water bodies are affected. Which leads to more chemicals needed to deactivate pathogens. Large filters are used but unfortunately it would be way too expensive to utilize a filter efficient enough to remove all virus and bacteria so they rely more of chemicals.

does anyone that only drinks filtered/spring/ph water, do you use or have you thought about using a water filter for your shower? ive just started using a faucet filter to drink from instead of regular tap water and buying bottled water by the case so ive been thinking about getting a filter for the shower bc ive read awhile back that the hard water (considering where you live i guess) can also strip your skin and hair of its nutrients.
