What some have said here. Respect this stuff and only use it a few days out of the week, or just like PWO for the mental boost/pain relief to train. I've been taking MASSIVE amounts of kratom for the last 2 years but it started low like everyone else. It's a good tool to use I don't want to hate on it, but it requires respect. I let bad times let me get out of control with it. I have constant gut issues - constipation, gas, bloat, nausea...... in addition to acting on the mu opioid receptor, the large amounts of plant material in the powder are hard to digest and cause all sorts of digestive problems. One your on the train it's hard to jump off as many have found. If you keep it low and infrequent you should not develop a dependency to it.

I never had an issue, it felt like the constipating effects of the opioids got balanced out by the effects of the “roughage” provided by the plant matter. Everyone is different though, sounds like you may be extra sensitive.

I take a magnesium supplement at night to help me sleep, one of the side effects is looser bowel movements. If you’re gonna take kratom in the future, maybe consider adding a good magnesium supplement at night.

I don’t ever remember it being an issue. But after being balled up and trying to not cry like a baby from certain opioids several times I am pretty quick to up my fiber at the first sign of things not being normal.
I don’t ever care to repeat that feeling.

When I have had to get a new doc I’m pretty big with the what I will and won’t take. So if they aren’t in agreement I’ll find a different doc and have a nice day. Knock on wood, so far the doc laughs and does the non your good.

I was never able to take large doses of Kratom, maybe a few grams at a time max. It made me extremely nauseous and dizzy. Which is strange because I used to be addicted to opiates but Kratom is weird. Like many have said I would quit now. Unless your pain is truly debilitating opiates are bad news long term and can turn into a life long addiction. Constipation will be the least of your worries if you allow the habit to take control.

Yes, it contains a partial opioid agonist so it will cause constipation.

Oh, I didn't know it contained a partial opioid. I suppose I am glad I never tried it. I'm not really into that stuff though. It would have to be a last resort and only for severe pain.

I'm on warm milk and laxatives, cherry flavored antacids....Its a song Kurt Cobain wrote , Pennyroyal tea. He referred to pennyroyal tea as heroin. Sadly, despite some cool songs ill listen to while training, he made the decision to take his own life.

Just eat enough fiber. as said magnesium. Don't take kratom more than three times a week. preferably less. Took two-three grams today, first time in months. Feeling a bit like a downer, and its a white strain. had this for a couple years and probally will have a few more years. Sealed in a bag. Does it degrade?

Can you get a script for cannabis? it has medicinal benefits for inflammation, nausea.

Sorry but he didn't refer to Pennyroyal Tea as heroin. That song was about being depressed. The Pennyroyal tea is mentioned being an abortive. He mentions it himself in a 1993 interview:

Due to limitation on what I can take for pain management(random hair follicles for the job), I have been directed to the Kratom. I have been taking Red and Green Maeng Da. Seems to work really well for pain AND PE in the sex life.

Unfortunately, I cannot remember the last time I haven’t taken a dump. And my stomach is all kinds of messed up.

Anyone experience with Kratom? And does is clog you up like this?

I use kratom regularly but have not had this issue though many do. a few useful tricks:
1 tbsp ground psylum husk 2x day works great.
milk of magnesia works as a gentle laxative and hydrates to improve BM's.

the obvious stuff like take magnesium citrate, drink plenty of water, even caffein sometimes helps like an am coffe just be careful cause caffeine dehydrates. The two I mentioned above worked great when I was on pain meds after my most recent vacation that I entirely missed by spending it in the ER in HI. Got one day on that island before I had to go home lol.

If your looking for the best Kratom I have found MIT45 Kratom shots are the best hands down but expensive. I order cases on line cause they are $10 ea but if you buy them local be prepared to spend $15-$20 ea. Try one though when your in pain. You will know why they are worth that price.

If you want cheap kratom Kratom Krates is super cheap and never let me down.

If you want super high quality and still reasonably price check out the Kratom Syndicate (TKS). They operate like a lab and have sterile rooms and testing etc.

Psyllium husk/bulk fiber I think are worse for Kratom... OP is you're getting constipation from Kratom you're taking too much.

The psyllium has made it more painful for me when constipated because its bulk forming and absorbs water then increasing pressure in the gut.

I would take senna leaf tea or magnesium citrate for immediate relief but the bigger issue is reducing kratom.

How much are you taking? I take 3g 2-3 mornings and 2-3g before the occasional workout when I feel really run down from work and I can set a clock (several clocks, as a matter of fact!) by my bowels!

alkainle water , 1 raw lemon, 1 tbsp pink salt, do yoga and stretch and move, guts need to move, they bunch up easily and this also can affect GAS

I usually use Kratom (Red Maeng Da) only 2 times per week (to help with the pain for pressing movements). My dosage is only 2-3 grams. I never get constipated from it.
