Honestly the best way I have found to get rid of these little bastards is with a straight edge nail clipper. Get a little extra bit of skin, its going to bleed a bit, but as long as you get the whole thing, its worth it. The pain only lasts for a second. Lets face the facts, if we can shove a needle 1+ inch deep in ourselves, we can cut off a little skin tag

I cut one off my trap when I was ~18... took 5 years to grow back but it's not as bad. I remember it being so damn painful to cut it off.

Just had one cut off about three months ago.

It was on my eyelid so I couldn't use any chemicals.

I cut it down may times only to have it grow back slightly bigger each time.

finally went to a doc. Cost $300 but they got it all. Where as I would never get all the way to the surface.

I use the small cuticle scissors but I can never seem to get it all off without leaving a mark that won't go away.

I use cuticle nail clippers which are agile and work better than a regular style nail clipper. They look something like this:

I don't believe I've ever had one grow back in the same place, but I do get them every so often. The trick is to get rid of them when you first see them. They really only pinch for a second and bleed slightly. If you let them get real big, I'd imagine they could be painful if you cut slow...and probably bleed pretty bad too. You may want to use a Styptic Pencil if it continues to bleed.

screw cutting them. I had a skin doc zap them with an electric spark gun thing, which gave me an idea.
soldering iron. u just touch them lightly til they pop. they turn black and fall off in a day or 2, no blood, no scar, nothing.
been doing this for years whenever one grows up on me.

I had one. I made my own 2% buffered lidocaine and then snipped it down to the skin with ease. You want to get down into the base.

No pain method.

I tried Tag Away, it didn't work. It smells so bad they should call it friend away instead. This stuff is people repellant.

Used to cut them off, but not easy to do it yourself all the time with weird angles and bleeds a ton. Tried the OTC wart freez stuff works wonders for me. Hope this helps.

Wouldn't have worked for me.
Mine was on my eye lid. Had to have it removed by a Dermatologist
