Such an awesome place. I trekked through there and Cambodia back in 2014. Been trying to get back ever since.

Been there twice now. Once the kids are on their own. I want to just go to Bangkok, Phuket, Amsterdam (there are still some great spots) and just chill for a while. Been raising kids for 28 years. With at least a decade to go. Chillin' in the Caymans (so take pics @slesh ). I go there a lot. Even for a weekend. I've earned it.

Banyan Tree Krabi, COMO Point Yamu (Phuket) and Six Senses Yao Noi.

Elephant sanctuary, Krabi street market, Phuket cultural tour, private fishing charter, James Bond islands and Phang Na Bay. Have an extra day or two to wing it as well.

Awesome to hear, definitely don’t shy away from the street food.

Food tours out there are a sublime experience.

In Phuket if you get the itch I would sign up for a few private session at tiger Muay Thai or top team. Unbelievable amount of talent in that city. Very wholesome and friendly experience. Completely cool going in as a pacifist monk to a top tier fighter, they will welcome you like family.
