Stinging/burning pain during injection of HMG

I recently switched to HMG from HCG, and I remembered why I stopped using it several years ago. This stuff stings like an absolute bitch when I inject it. Never get any swelling or infection, everything is sterile, and the drug has the intended effect on the testes/libido. But it burns and hurts like hell. Anyone else experience this?

Yes but I find it depends on the type of water provided. I'll be honest I can't actually recall what the various brands I have came with, but I can check later.

On the odd occasion where I can't open the ampoule and throw it across the room in anger, I use some unbranded bac water that I have and never stings.

Same with my hCG and that is zivafert.

Doesn't matter if its IM or subq. 3x per week for 9 months is wearing thin.

I never had an issue. It’s weird though. All the bac I’ve been getting stings much more than it used to. Maybe I’m just getting old and turning into a pussy
