Thank youT3 is stronger then T4. I believe in regards to thyroid health the safer of the 2 would be T4. T4 is more so prescribed to patients.
ThanksT3 is the more active form from my reading. T4 gets converted to T3. If your body doesn't have the ability to convert all the T4 then you don't get the benifits of it. That said I take a combination of both.
T3 is much more potent than T4 (about 4x if I recall correctly). Endo's almost always start patients on T4 and then add T3 if necessary. They seem to often employ a combination of the 2 based on bloodwork and symptoms though. A portion of T4 will eventually be converted into T3. There's a ton of variability from person to person that dictates that though. Its been years since ive used T3 for fat loss and to rev up metabolism. My question is what is the difference between the two in terms of results and thyroid health?
T3 is very strong, T4 I found ineffective. 25-50mcg of T3 will cut you up, just watch you eating because it does make you very hungry... if you are on a cut that is the only issue I have had. Will do thank you. Doing 25 mcg.

Keeping your ratios similar to what an euthyroid people havewhat are the pros of taking t3/t4 mix and not just t3?
