guys, really? fast food? you can make better at home... and its healthy and tastes good.
1lb ground turkey or chicken.(they sell this in the stores these days...or get out your old meat grinder and attatch it to the table and get a good workout in..either way)
1 tsp garlic powder (or if you are adventurous, go with real fresh stuff..mmm)
1 tsp ground ginger (see above parenthasis remark)
a pinch of salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp olive oil
heat your oil, add your spices (I do this to let the powders release their goodness or the fresh to soften up just a bit ..one minute will do)
add your protein of choice and stir to blend, let cook, stir on occasion until done.
place in hard or soft shell taco, add diced tomato, lettuce, cheese, sour cream...whatever you like.
It literally takes minutes to make. And you know what meat is in your taco.
if you are a bean eater, open a can of refried beans and heat up... then add toppings as you like.
if you are like me and need to control the amount of salt in your food, then cooking your own beans just got a little more time consuming but it's hella good and much healthier for you.
FYI, if you eat beans, you will still have potty troubles... that's the nature of beans.
I used to LOVE eating Taco Bell but that stuff kills my stomach every time. Its just not worth it too me any more to eat like that. The stuff is like ingesting poison. Im on the crapper within 35-40min clearing my guts out.
