I am must curious as to what everyone is using these days for intramuscular injections of higher concentration gear (200mg or more per ml).

23g? 25g? 27g?


I take 29g insulin pin when injecting ED or EOD with a lower conentration gear such as 100mg per ml or lower.

Using 25g for anything higher.

23g 1-1/2" for all IM needs.

I use 25g 1 inch for glutes and 25g 5/8 for delts...

I realize I'm against the norm but I prefer 29gauge for deltoid and glutes if using an oil product. For Test suspension or something like hcg or slin, I use 30gauge. Pushing oils through a 29 gauge takes a bit more time, but if you warm up the oil a bit beforehand, it works great.

17 gauge for calf injections.

below picture is of Tenny re-injecting blood lost from said calf injection. Tenny's prices are great. about $10 for my procedure. he's open 24 hours a day, carries milk, bread and an assortment of Lou Ferrigno autographed pics. Tenny also buys and sells blood. you can get a check in about an hour (about the time it takes to have a pair of glasses made.)
