I tried taking a pic through the glasses so you could see the moon but could not get the photo come out right.I tried to look without the proper glasses and got a little blind for a minute lol. Pretty cool esp if u got to see the full eclipse and day turns to night.
$20??!!......I paid $1 for mine. Sorry brotha but you got raped.I am in eastern PA and it was 100% cloud coverage. Zero view of the eclipse.
Wasted $20 on those gosh darn glasses.
They closed schools for the day here. They made ALL of the kids stay in school because they were afraid some window licker might look directly at the sun the sue them. Jesus Christ. What a better teaching moment could you have? My wife actually pulled the kids out of school for a few hours to watch the eclipse and grab a lunch.
Not total darkness here but definitely a big difference. Also there was a for sure temperature drop.Im in Tyler Tex full drakness for 2 min all the street lights came on i loved it.
I have the same mindset. Really don't know why they closed schools where I live. As mentioned above this would have been a great teaching event for kids. Not something that happens often. I was the same in '17 but definitely a very cool experience.I was in the middle of a workout so when it got dark outside I went out to look. Saw it in 2017 also. Not a big deal to me.

How long of a drive is that? I talked to someone who drove about 4 hours. They actually came up and stayed in a hotel. My daughter sent that to me. She traveled down from Madison WI to Carbondale Il.
