Witnessed a rare occurrence yesterday.....

I tried to look without the proper glasses and got a little blind for a minute lol. Pretty cool esp if u got to see the full eclipse and day turns to night.

I am in eastern PA and it was 100% cloud coverage. Zero view of the eclipse.
Wasted $20 on those gosh darn glasses.

They made ALL of the kids stay in school because they were afraid some window licker might look directly at the sun the sue them. Jesus Christ. What a better teaching moment could you have? My wife actually pulled the kids out of school for a few hours to watch the eclipse and grab a lunch.

Saw “Full” in 2017 when I lived in PC Beach. Worked on a command where over 1,500+ workers were all standing in parking lot with glasses handed out to all of us from support companies we did business with. It was cool, but makes me laugh my ass off at how so many folks were all standing in a parking lot for over an hour versus inside getting work done. You only live once though and it was cool they allowed us to do it.

In Tampa now, so we didn’t get to see the “Full” episode yesterday, but did get to see over 60% with glasses.

I tried taking a pic through the glasses so you could see the moon but could not get the photo come out right.

They closed schools for the day here.

But I definitely agree. Get way to educate kids about this.

I have the same mindset. Really don't know why they closed schools where I live. As mentioned above this would have been a great teaching event for kids. Not something that happens often. I was the same in '17 but definitely a very cool experience.

How long of a drive is that? I talked to someone who drove about 4 hours. They actually came up and stayed in a hotel.
