I currently take 5ius of H/ day for nerve damage caused by discs in my neck and for sciatic pain in leg. It helps me relieve pain and is better than the alternative pain meds and also helps me sleep. My recovery is great when I am doing different activities. Not to mention it helps me stay lean, full & feeling pretty good. I also blast some IGF in the spring when I start training and that also does wonders but not something I take on the reg. Anyone else on here take H for disc damage or pain?

bump...would like to know as well.

L3/L5 degeneratiive disk issues here. Dr prescriped Meloxican for now and to strength my core. the med helps but far from providing any relief. I am a nurse and I work 12hr days at time.....after this my back is shot.

I only saw one Dr thus far....looking for another opinion. for now...I am starting my 2nd week of dosing 4iu/day to see if this helps. workouts have changed from heavy weights....to lighter with more reps. taking Test Enath too....looking to add Deca.

I have 2 ruptured discs on the very end of my lower spine. Gh helps a little bit with the pain. It's not some miracle cure though. Gh repairs ligament and muscle damage but I highly doubt it's going to significantly repair any disc damage because discs are neither muscle nor ligament. They are more like liquid filled sacs and as far as I know, they don't have any blood flow or very minimal blood flow. Once your discs are damaged, there is no reversing it but there are ways to help alleviate the pain.

I have tried every type of alternative, pain meds, cortisone shots, hanging upside down, accupunture etc. The only thing that has helped me is strengthening my core. The hgh does help me with recovery if I do a lot of standing up or bending down, the next day it doesnt seem to hurt as bad. I get bad sciatic pain in my leg and it can cause some uncomfortable pain that nothing seems to help. Unfortunatly the days of lifting heavy and low reps is over for me and its high reps with light weight from here on out.

Bro I've done all the same things as you for my back. You're absolutely right and I tell my friends and peeps I know that the only way to alleviate back pain is the strengthen the entire core which includes the lower back itself, abs and obliques. My back these days doesn't hurt as much as it used to since My core is pretty strong. Gh only helps so much but since it's disc damage, it doesn't help significantly. Gh however helps tremendously with my shoulder because I have ligament damage from years of heavy overhead pressing.

Maybe some TB500 would be worth a shot?

Im looking into the laser spine surgery, I have heard good things and will try anything at this point as long as it doesnt involve oxys or patches. Im not sure how the laser thing all works but its the next thing I am looking into. Im 32 and have a hard time standing up some days from the sciatic pain.

Hey guys, go to a pain specialist and ask about supartz (Sodium Hyaluronate)injections. They did it for my knee that was all messed up from a car accident. I went from being on 140mg of oxy a day to clean after 2 series of the full injections. Now to finish off the job I'm using TB500. But he said they are begining to use the stuff for degenerative dic's and patiants with back pain as well. If your that serious about your back pain then check it out.

I don't that would help since discs are not connective or muscle tissue.

I agree on that point but what exactly are the discs doing that are causing pain?

If he discs are not aligned properly and out of position it can cause pain. This is also known as herniated or slipped discs. If the discs are degenerating/ruptured like mine, it can cause a lot of pain.

Ok, I get it now... Not really well versed in back issues.

Yup, 4 herniated discs thanks to lifting heavy in my 20s. Dont let your ego get in the way.:banghead:

Best advice ever for youngin's who think they know it all. That's the same way I originally screwed up my back. I was 24 and I didn't wear a belt. Did some really heavy hack squats and fucked up my back. I'm 32 now and don't lift nearly as heavy as I used to, but the higher reps, safety gear(knee wraps, belt, straps)and better form nowadays have spared me a lot of gruesome injuries.

I hear ya. I've read way too many stories just like yours.

I'm 21 and still cringe all the time seeing other guys - usually around my age - rounding the shit outta their backs on deads.

Good knee wraps, belt and shoes for equipment. Good form and moderately heavy weight. Can't really screw it up if you squat and dead with all these guidelines in place.

Ditto! Stay away from deads and anything behind the neck....its not worth it. From my personal experience.

L1-L5 herniated. one partially collapsed, vertebrae slipped. used belts and support gear. but pushing the envelope decade after decade...well some thing is bound to give. push the muscles but watch the joints they take longer to heal and cause more problems IMO.
