My girl eventually told me she was surprised I would want to be with her. I don't know if it was a looks thing as much as a status/reputation thing. But I agree it can be tough at times to deal with someone with serious self esteem issues, which is a shocking number of women to be honest once you get to know them.

The funny thing is they act like bitches and if you act mean back you're the bad guy, so you have to humor it, plus it feels better making the situation humorous instead of an all out nastiness

and take your house and half your paycheck with her

Eh, I would never stay with a woman who showed a bitchy side like that. I've been with plenty for fun, but would never consider them for a real relationship.
