BEST HAIR TRANSPLANT DOCTOR IN FLORIDA?

Don't transplant your pubes if you have straight hair it might look weird.:p

I wouldn't mind actually its like hitting two birds with one stone. I can just imagine the nurse's reaction.

BTW you can see Rich Piana's FUE scar. To be honest only if you know anything about FUE can you tell if not it doesn't stand out so obviously. I doubt many people ask him about it. Any guesses as to how many grafts he had done, Im guessing around 3000?

I think he got fut, there's the trademark line across his scalp in some pics. And he no longer ever goes short in the back anymore which is a tell tale sign of covering up the scar

I would say at least 3k, in some of the pics his loss went deep into his midscalp so he would've had to take it into zones 1,2,3 and probably 4 so that's 3k+

There are a few great surgeons for overall hair loss but if you want hairline specialists, I would focus on these guys in the US personally.

Diep, 7 us per graft so at 2000 = 14k
Wesley, I can't remember his prices off hand but I'd guess in the 7-10 range per graft. NY based it's always going to be a little more.

Diep is the probably the most aggressive hairline doc in the us, really works well with younger guys but if you want a more natural look that still brings out your best Wesley is awesome too. Dr Shapiro and Dr Konior also both do outstanding work in every aspect so you never lose going to either of those guys but for hairline specifically I would personally go with the 2 I said.

In Canada

Dr Rahal is I believe 8 per graft for the first 2k then 6 per graft after + tax. Canadian dollars tho so there is a discount for the American using canadian currency and he does have a 1k travel allowance.

Rahal is like Diep, both are hairline gods and agressive. Rahals team is proficient in fue but their expertise is in fut. If I had to stay North America I would lean Diep just as hes more fue oriented.

In Europe

the upside to Europe is the sheer number of fue surgeries they do, in the us it's more like 75 percent fut and 25 % fue for docs who do both and very few do both well. In Europe it's more like 85% fue 15% fut. They are the leaders in fue and they teach the americans how to do it, literally the conferences are run by these guys. And it's usually a bit cheaper even after factoring in travel.

Dr Feriduni - 5 euro per the 1st k then 4 euro after I believe so 9k euro for 2k
Based in Brussels, also charges VAT @21%

Dr Bisanga - 5 euro per the 1st k, then 3 euro after. so 8 k euro for 2k and if you get a drs note he'll waive the vat. This was my doctor, also in Brussels

Dr Erdogan - 2,5 euro I believe across the board. Based in Turkey

Dr F and Dr B, if you ask other doctors who they would want to design their hairline and do their hair surgeries these are the names that get brought up. I asked every doc I consulted with and they are brought up 80% of the time. I would ask a doc in the us and he'd tell me go he'd go to Dr B lol They are the best of the best in fue circles period. Dr Erdogan right up there with any of the hairline guys, very talented doc and gets some of the craziest densities around but he does it by using more grafts than anybody else. If you're 2k with every other doc, you'll be min 2500 with Erdogan and likely closer to 3k. So if you don't have a lot of loss and don't see your hair loss progressing and can afford the grafts then Dr E is a great way to get as close to your normal hair as possible but if you see progression coming down the line, he can lead to some graft wastage and you need to preserve grafts. He makes all the other agressive docs look timid lol

Those would be my recommendations

What about Demisroy at $1.40/ graft?

Really? I thought you see it clearly here? Do you think they did any work in the back area? Or maybe its because he shaves it on the sides but it continues in a linear fashion around the back but we can't see it bc its longer?
It looks more diffuse but now he looks filled up. I probably have slightly thicker hair at my thinnest point compared to his thickest MPB point.

Demisroy is a good surgeon and will deliver quality results. His value is incredible and ive seen him pull off some mega session results that were outstanding but strictly hairline I have him behind the guys listed but that is not a knock against him just that I believe those guys are specialists in that regard while he seems more specialised in mega session work. He does still do a good job on the hairline tho. I don't like that he does motorized fue vs manual, I just believe the result can't be matched against manual fue... manual is more time consuming and doesn't lend itself well to mega sessions like this doctor tends to do however.

yup that's the fut scar. it wraps around the back of his head. he just covers the remainder of it with longer hair. A fue scar would not appear like that. My guess is he's had multiple procedures and that pic with the visible fut scar was when they went back in to remove more from the strip to implant unshaven. He probably didn't want to do another full shave procedure if he ever did... With that amount of hair a fue scar wouldnt be visible. It could be diffuse, the pictures aren't entirely clear on his pre.

Ahhh ok.

BTW I think you asked but yeah the derma roller Im using is 1.5" as per the Indian study. You are right it apparently help absorb the minox better. I use mine every 3-4 days. The study was once a week. Some guys use it daily but I don't think its good because the skin is still sensitive.

I never realized places would put you up if you had to travel to them! That makes the entire world a potential place. VERY exciting!

Damn, this thread alone is worth the price of admission for joining this board (or, it was just answering some "are you human" questions, but still...).

Thanks a LOT guys, this info in priceless! I have always wanted to visit Turkey anyway, so I might just go there. I have thick head of hair on the back but am thinning on the crown, so he may be the perfect choice for me.

What about SMP to fill in scaring ? I think the right SMP technician would make difference.

Definitely possible, especially if you got a flat scar, it'd blend nicely and allow you to cover up easily. Smp is surprisingly versatile. Ive seen a few works on guys with thinning in their crown who were low on donor hair get smp and look filled in. It's just a pain to have to do every couple years and the added expense of having to do if that often but if you can work around that then you can certainly make it work in the right situations.

As my research continues, I kept hearing the name of Dr. Serkan Agyin coming up for great FUE doctors in Turkey.

I now know 5 people who've had Serkan do their hair and they all look great. They only paid 2,000 USD which also included room/board/transportation to and from the clinic.

It seems like the average cost of FUE ops in turkey are around the 2k mark which is insanely good if you ask me.

Bottom line, I'm going to Turkey. I can't see any reason to have this surgery done in the USA where you'll be paying 10-15k vs 2k in Turkey for the same quality of work.

Has anyone else heard anything about Dr. Serkan?

I have no idea about procedures but for a long time Ive been interested in restoring my hairline. I just don't have the funds right now for that luxury, **EDIT**
