I personally think 200 ounces of water or 6 litres per day is a lot, you´re asking your kidneys to work overtime without any need or added benefit to your health. If you drink 6 litres because you´re thirsty all the time you should see a doctor (unless you´re a giant). I generally drink when I´m thirsty and that amounts to maybe 1.5 or 2 litres per day, add in another 0.75 l on training days and I´m still under 3 litres at my max consumption.
I might get blasted for this but drink when you´re thirsty and eat when you´re hungry, your body is wiser than you think.
