To answer OP’s question, yeah, of course you can over do it. But focusing on something that’ll cause temporary fluctuations in water retention and blood pressure probably isn’t going to change your physique in a meaningful way, unless you’re manipulating water for a show or the beach. I'm sure you can not sure how much. I'm 185 and get 10k sodium and potassium some days and I'm fine. I don't try I just eat 350g protein and it adds up. Drink about 3 liters a day
The body wants balance and health the best it can. And it will seek it out no matter what we choose to do to it. Pouring in sodium in deference to all the other minerals etc. Is probably less then optimal.
