MD's Glucose Disposal Agent

John I bought about 4 bottles of this product. I have been using regularly with each of my carb meals. Here is the protocol I have set up. Please let me know if it looks alright and I have one question for you.

(Only Showing Carbs For Meal Here)

First Meal- 3/4 Cup Oats- 2 Caps

Pre Workout Meal- 1 Cup Rice- 2 Caps

Post Workout Meal- ??????

Shouldnt I want my insulin to spike the the muscles to fill up with glucose post workout if I'm attempting to put on lean muscle. Or Should I take 2 Post workout as well to continue to keep insulin levels low. These are my only carb meals of the day and I use 4 with my one cheat meal a week.

The glucose gets driven into your cells with this product...any excess is then cleared.
 
I see now. Thanks brother. I was misunderstood a little bit about how it actually works.
 
For a big guy like you, I would probably do 3 carb meals with the GDA, assuming you have at least 3 heavier carb meals in a day (I would not use it preworkout with carbs though)...You can also use it post workout with huge carb meals and cheat meals too..

Why not take it pre before/intra? To avoid blunting the insulin spike at the time when we want it?

You can actually take it preworkout, if you are drinking an intramix with carbs, you just don't want to go hypo...hence my caution there...

You can use this pre or post...or even both. I try to take 2 caps with every 50 grams of carbs.

I love this product, but I have avoided taking it peri workout because of the strong antioxidant properties of the r-ala...wouldn't it possibly hinder training adaptations? If not I'll definitely start using it around workouts, as that's when I consume most of my carbs.

Interesting thought. I know that I had chinese food for lunch yesterday...so lots of salt and carbs(from white rice)..and plenty of liquid as always. A couple hours later I made my intra with 100g Hbcd from Glycofuse and took 4 Mountaindog GDA as I left for the gym. The pumps were absolutely insane.

EXCELLENT point. Personally I avoid megadoses of antioxidants around training due to this. I think you'll be fine with ala though as it is recycling antioxidants and not working as say a 3 gram dose of Vit C would...

Great product that works well...but does anyone else have digestion issues with it?
