Reading this made my heart very heavy for you...
I am so sorry,I can not even begin to fathom how tragic it was for you to watch all of that happen and the effects it had on you and your family.

All I can do is lift you up in prayer and ask the lord to help you cope with this. We will never understand why it happened but rest assured, he certainly did not deserve it whatsoever. Rejoice in the memories you have and remember how beautiful of a person he was .
