Shelby helped me take 1st in the Novice Lt heavies at the Golds Classic

Can't thank Shelby enough for all his help during my prep. I worked with him for 16 weeks and competed in my first show this weekend. The NPC Golds Classic in NJ. Took first in the Novice light heavy weight class. Second in the open. Felt like I should have had the Novice overall but oh well, politics.

You nailed this prep perfectly mcswag - I never had a doubt in my mind you were following instructions perfectly.. and it definitely paid off for you. Definitely a pleasure to work with.
Keep at it because you have a very bright future in bodybuilding.

Thanks guys. It was a pleasure working with Shelby. I just loved the food choices and the way we went about everything. He's the perfect coach for me. I have a vacation coming up in 2 weeks but after I'm done enjoying the win I'm going to talk to Shelby about some off season stuff.

Don't think I'll compete next year because I need to focus on work and buying a house but I think I want to get back up there as a heavyweight in 2016. I think we can make some decent gains in a year and half then prep for bigger show and see if I can re qualify and follow up with a national show.

I'll let Shelby lead the way though. He hasn't let me down yet!

I'm 5'9" and weighed in at the show at 198. 4 days post show and I'm waking up around 214.. Funny thing is when I started with Shelby 16 weeks out I was 215 first thing in the morning..oh and I'm 26 years old
