Is NOW nutrition's natural beef gelatin powder the same thing as NOW's hydrolyzed bovine gelatin tablets? Is one hydrolyzed and the other is not? Or are they the same thing just different forms.

Sounds like LBA's to me. I have TP's beef iso protein and it's better than the other shit that the big supp companies are putting out IMO.

They are two different products, the powder isn't hydrolyzed and the tabs are hydrolyzed. I would assume the hydrolyzed would be better.

Ya that's what I was thinking to myself, thinking bout giving it a try and mixing it with my whey 9 extra grams of protein couldn't hurt

The thing that I would like to know would this be a good alternative to the more expensive lbas? cuz it is beef gelatin but the beef gelatin powder isn't hydrolyzed the caps r hydrolyzed though so the caps may be the better choice.

Very interesting.. Considering the market on this product as a raw ingredient is $3.10/lb. The jars and lid costs about $1.50.. So all is their cost would be around $16/ Unit including product, label, jar, lid, blending and filling. Not bad.

Here's what it says on their website about the beef gelatin caps

"NOW hydrolyzed beef gelatin is 86% protein with virtually no fat or carbohydrates. This hydrolyzed form of gelatin is high in collagen and has been enzymatically predigested to enhance absorption."
