It actually says: "The reason I'm concerned is the deposition of the tanning agents into the lungs could really facilitate or aid systemic absorption -- that is, getting into the bloodstream." Which mean if you are inhaling the chemical it can be absorbed into bloodstream which would potentially cause changes in DNA that may lead to cancer. So does breathing CO2 from car exhaust and believe me we are inhaling that everyday for our whole life to some percentage.
It has been proven that people who use tanning beds have a 50%+ higher chance of getting skin cancer then people who dont. Everything in life is a risk. I need to see some real studies other than just speculation of what they think it might do.
