O/T How to get smell of urine off mattress?

Dog pee'd on my bed. Its brand new so luckly i used the stain remover and got the stain out since your warranty can be voided if mattress has a stain but the smell of urine is still there. It wasnt a ton of pee and it went through the sheets and liner but still got on the mattress. I kept using the stain remover and it masked the scent a little but is there a way to get that damn smell outta there? Thanks

The piss absorbed into the material inside mattress, which you'll never be able to get to. The smell will eventually subside, but all you can do is try and freshen the outside of it. Try Febreze, stuff like that.

Our dog pissed on our bed too and we tried the Febreze and then
it smelled like Febreze dog piss. Tried others to no avail. This seemed to
work if you can do it with your mattress. First use a cleaner let it dry
then Apply baking soda and turn it over. baking soda is a great natural
deoderizer...........

my college roomate used to piss the bed everytime he was drunk. literally piss drunk.
the next day we used to joke saying it smelled like maple syrup in his room, lol.
anyway, i dont think he did anything but wait for the smell to dissapate. yuck. -STEELE

My mom just told me that when her dog pissed on the couche what finally got the smell out was she got some white vinager and dampened a white washcloth with it and blotted it all over the area. Let it dry for an hour and then did it again with another rag. She said the smell is now gone. I may try it.

HAHAHA!!! I though I was the only person that had a roomy with a pissing problem when he got drunk. 3 out of 5 times my roomy pisses the bed when he gets drunk. He has stories of peeing on his brothers computer, thought it was the toilet, and waking up...pissing all over his girlfriend and telling her "I win" then passing back out.....RIDICULOUS

Anyways, my mother uses the same solution (white vinegar) she has told me when I was a little guy and use to wet the bed. Seems to be more popular than you'd think....give it a shot bud. Good Luck

They sell at product at some janitorial supply shops that works wonders. I had a jeep and the neighbors cat ( since deceased ) pissed all over the seats. This product is some type of enzyme spray and it was amazing !

I would buy a bottle of "enzyme dog bath"

You spray it on your animal to wash him w/o water.

I would pour a good amount right on the stain and take the mattress out to dry in the sun.

You could also borrow an air ionizer and try that.
