Anyone on Depakote

Does sodium valproate hinder your gains? Does anyone have experience with it?

I’ve been on it for years and it’s a staple I must take to avoid the looney bin. It’s caused me a few issues.

As far the drug itself hindering gains in my experience no. I’ve never felt a high or effect of it BUT! Gains could absolutely be hindered by whatever condition requires you to take it.

Do you take it for seizures or for something else. If seizures I wouldn’t be concerned about training on it but if something else you could have issues.

It’s a dangerous drug. I won’t get into why but hindering your progress.. I don’t think so. For ME it’s necessary for training. Without it training would become last priority.

Oh and one more personal experience I’ve never had any issues with using gear while taking it in fact it’s helped me stay balanced mentally.

I'm sorry this is terrible. but how did depakote cause his death? due to suicide?

My sister is was on it for severe epilepsy. It made her very nauseous and tired. It did
