F U legs

With more frequent squatting my legs went from like 22" to 26.5 in a few years. I am only 5'5 so thems some beefy wheels on my frame

Did not count negatives or really worry about it, controlled reps, no slowing down.

What rep range do you use for squats? Short or long rest periods between sets?
 
You could try hitting them once a week in the style that Phil suggests and just put yourself in the ground; I mean totally destroy it and kill it in the workout, but avoid traditional squats and focus on hacks, leg presses, and smith machine lunges. Then take a day off for recovery and move on to another body part when you train again. Focus more on the recovery aspect and a little less on frequency of training.
 
A lot of great advise in thread. But also totally different approaches. Since what your doing is not working, I'd simply do the opposite of what you're currently doing. Opposite in terms of frequency and volume. Also, at least for the time being, stay away from any exercises that may cause injury.
 
I might b wrong but am sure in some folk certain body parts won't grow one of my m8 who has been in the British won the Scottish few times his arms would not grow but everything else was growing you just have to get the rest of body looking good you can compensate with another body part but in here there are guys that have tones of advise better than mine thought I would add my part good luck

What's considered high volume anyway. 20sets?

I think when I'm back "on" I will go to mon/fri twice a week. Heavy (8reps or so) squats Ect. And leg press Friday. Higher reps

With quads and hams combined I'd say in the range of 30 sets
