Lower Loading Day

Tweaked my left quad today on safety bar squats. Dunno what happened. Warmed up plenty. Form seemed good. My set of 405 was great then rep 5 on 455 I felt the upper rectus femoris strain/sprain. Locked out the rep for a second to see if i was going to collapse. Hit another 2 reps and racked the weight. After I racked it was pretty painful and any standing up has been challenging. Hope it's not major. Decided to finish the day but no more Lower work to be safe.

Safety Bar Squat - 405x12, 455x7 (had 4 more for a pr in the tank)

Pulldown
Db Incline row

Seated chest press
Seated cable fly

Reverse DB shoulder press x2

Triceps extension
Db Curl
 
Update time.

16 days in now. Weight has went up quite a bit quicker then I expected. Still haven't stepped on a scale since starting but, pants have snugged up. Shirts are much tighter through the arms chest and back. Pant legs are uncomfortable. There is definitely some water there but some quickly gained fat as well.

I increased calories a bit too quickly but, the gh I had been using didn't help things either as igf was steadily falling off. Going to cut out a few carbs on training days until I get to a point of steady weight. That should be the right spot to have some recomp happening. I also switched back to IronLion growth so igf will be back in the right spot very soon.

If this doesn't work, and I'll be able to tell quickly, I'll be adding in fasted cardio ah la Dante Trudel DC training.

Feel like the tren is working already.... Sleep hasn't been great and sweats have been worse even though the sweating may be from how much water I'm holding. It's still very early, especially for hex though so, may be placebo.

Lots of pr's today. Strength is starting to ramp up quite a bit. Little lethargy and back pumps from the SD even though it's only at 10mg and water has been high. May cut it soon.
 
Large man. Quite a bit of mass you've put on in the last couple years since I started following your logs. Where do you go from here? More mass? Leaner? Don't matter as long as you continue to add strength? Doing great monte. When's the next show?

All of the above..... Lol.

My “short term goal“ is 255lbs with the condition I had at the end of my last blast at 242lbs.

I'm primarily focused on size right now but, I won't get all sloppy and fat then piss away any lean tissue I built by having to diet all the fat away.

Strength is really just my measuring point. I've been reading and listening to a lot of Jordan Peter's stuff and I love his ideas. Progressive eating and progressive heavier weights. If I'm getting stronger, I've gotta be adding size considering my training.

If all goes as planned, I'll try to get on stage again late next year.....unless it's going too well, then I'll wait some more lol.

Cialis Pre workout for a little pump but mainly for BP.

It's quite a bit of stuff and more then I intended to use but, should all work nicely together.

No plans to change any time soon. I had made the most progress using DC training but fell victim to being bored and FT has a lot of similarities but has a way to change things up to keep the monotony at bay.

Since I started FT I have seen amazing results in a very short period of time. I'm sure it's from a new stimulus but, it hasn't slowed at all through 5 training cycles. And on top of that, I'm just now getting a really good feel for what works best using the system so it should get better in theory.

If I were to switch I dunno what the reasoning would be..... I would turn to Mountain Dog training if I ever did but I just can't see why I would want or need to.

Off today...... Got home from work this morning and my youngest had her last volley ball game today so I stayed up to go watch. After that my nephew had his grad party so I got about an hour nap before going to that.

I'm supposed to work tonight but I took a vacation day since I've only had 1hr of sleep in the last 36 hours or so.

I'll sleep in tomorrow and then go try to hammer out lower muscle rounds if my quad can hold up.

Time for some Zquil, a little Red Vein Thai and as much sleep as I can get.

The wife and I went to have breakfast at a local spot that is freaking fantastic. I had this sandwich. Berry wheat toast, egg whites, tomato, avocado, turkey sausage and low fat cheese.

Trained after that meal. Went ok but I'm still shaky on my quad... Felt fine but not right if that makes sense..

Stabbed my hand at work today. No stitches but it's been leaking like crazy.

Kinda annoying.... Tomorrow is upper loading day and gripping anything without the wound opening up is gonna be tough.... Will improvise. **broken link removed**

I was 245 before i loaded yesterday and it was a tiny ass load just to relieve the spasms. I'm holding quite a bit of water right now with the switch of gh, increasing Deca and the low dose SD I ran for a couple weeks.

Back low carb today minus my post workout meal. Went to Panda Express since I had a ton of errands to run. White rice, teriyaki chicken and Angus steak. I'll continue to keep carbs lower until the water drops off a bit so I can judge body comp better.

Well let's see...... Where to start.

This has been a shit couple of weeks. First the injury to my hand that limited my training last week. After that I get the news that DQ is going to be closing. Then I get whatever devil bug I had for two days.

From Monday morning to this morning, I dropped 14lbs. Had diarrhea two times and everything else was vomit. I was like a fucking water faucet for a day and a half. Yesterday afternoon I was about to get down a little more then half a gallon of pedialite though. This morning I felt like I was back to normal. So I decided to train......

There has got to be something with an abnormal rapid depletion of glycogen stores in the body and an increase in strength because I fucking smoked all kinds of pr's today. Very strange but very fun lol.

Also Had a serreal moment before shoulder press. Walked over to the machine I use and it had 3 plates a side on it. I thought to myself "a year ago that is about all you could push" I had Diary of Jane blasting in my headphones and thought "I fucking love this shit..." popped 2 more plates a side and proceeded to hit another pr. That's the only time I can think of that I have ever had a moment like that before..... It was awesome.

Rack pull (at knee) - 12 plates x8 (pr)

Incline Bb - 275*10, 315*5(pr)
