Any particular foods that you think give more "bang for their buck" beyond just the protein, calories, micronutrients they provide?
I say steak. Just look at a well cooked steak how can that not be the best food for muscle growth? Organ meat up there as well.
I know Vince advocated steak and when I was coached by Alex a years ago (rip) when I stalled he had me add more Red meat eventually 6 meals 8 oz each.
I'll also say fruits. Veggies of course as well. I know bboy I think he's mentioned apples as a staple of his diet and think Phil was big on fruit.
I've seen on a recent thread milk or raw milk mentioned as "super foods"
