Winter bulking foods

I’ve just done a slow cooker stew with beef chuck and shin with potato and carrots
Similarly I've been making beef stew in the slow cooker a lot. Great way to get protein laden calories in. BTW if you haven't done ribs in a slow cooker you are missing out. Stupid easy and crazy tender. I'll get two racks and have both slow cookers going at once.

Next up is a good beef chili with tons of meat.
 
@jaxino...you actually eat horse meat? What does it taste like?
Also texture of the horse meat? How do you cook it,grill,stew, etc?

I usually buy the minced horse meat and cook it on a pan for few minutes with some onions.

The texture is very similar to beef.

Tastes a bit bitter but I like it a lot.

I like the minced meat because you can mix it with rice and eat it quite fast.
 
Breakfast for me stays the same always but my food through the day is definitely prepared different when it’s cold..or just winter regardless of the temperature..I have had severe seasonal depression ever since I was a pre-teen..and it gets compounded onto the walking shit show I am now..so I like to compound my meals with the regular foods I eat year around so that at least makes me happy.

So, instead of ground beef and rice I’ll have several stuffed bell peppers or legit Cajun dirty rice(lot more meat)

Instead of beef and potatoes I’ll have shepherds pie or some shit.

Anytime I eat chicken it’s going to be Mexican..because chickens fucken depressing no matter what
 
Post workout meal # 5. 2 beef sausages, 5 whole eggs 2egg whites, 1.5 cups fat free plain Greek yogurt, 2/3 cup oats berries and clover honey 1/2 avacado, grapefruit juice and 2% milk and all my pm supplements

I eat the same food year round as I found what has worked well for me. I only adjust the quanity if I am trying to gain or lose fat. (Calories in vs out)
 
During winter i add some vegetable soup, fat free cheese, hot milk with bread and cereals a lot of fruits and red meat of all kind
 
What are we eating to gain size this time of year? My go-to is chili. I use ground turkey, beef, or bison, beans, canned tomatoes, canned corn, peppers and spices. Obviously, mostly meat. I like to use instant mashed potatoes to thicken it as needed. Put it all in the crockpot before the gym, and then come home and eat chili all day. I also like fat free Greek yogurt as a substitute for sour cream.
It depends on what you can afford day in and day out.
Personally when I used to bulk I ate stakes, potatoes, spaghetti and meatballs, Chicken, lots of Tilapia and few spoons of olive oil. IF you like eating out at decent prices, Shawarmas are one of the best sandwiches for bulking.
 
Pasta salad, Mac and cheese, coconut jasmine rice with butter, 6 turkey sausages and two scoops of whey in whole milk and bcaas. 2000 calories. Post leg thrashing session. Train big eat big. I’ll eat one more time before bed.
