Late to this, but due to my work (on site warehouse work, moving 24/7 and busy) I typically end up at 4 meals a day myself (plus intra). My meals are around 100g, I’ve even pushed 150g on days I was only able to get in 3 meals. Betaine HCL aids a ton in this in my experience.

betaine > digeestive enzymes? I know its better for pepsin/protease release, but I get heartburn sometimes using that stuff in past , I feel like I can never time the betaine hcl with pepsin properly

I take Betaine HCL after a few bites, not before starting. You may try taking it when one third of your meal already went down.

This is why I don't take Betaine HCL before meals but rather during:
The onset of action is very quick when taken on empty stomach, but the proper stomach acidification doesn't last as long as we need (several hours) with a large protein MEAL if used that way.
Having at least a small portion of the meal already in your stomach before taking it delays the effect.
 
So eventually this thread got derailed enough times to make me feel entitled to post this 😂

These stupid cheap biscuits that I've snubbed my entire life, made with the most unhealthy crap you can think of...
Taste un-fucking-real. At least the salted caramel/white chocolate version I got. There's no way you can eat a few and leave the rest for later, and before you realize what's going on you've already opened the second pack 😩
Keep on hand a gallon of iced tea, you'll need it.
You've been warned.
