Any of you guys eat salmon everyday?

Farming salmon means they are raised in "warmer" water. Thats to get the fish bigger in a shorter period of time on less feed.
Unfortunately that also means that the fish have almost half the EFA's than a wild cold water fish . We eat the salmon for its EFA contend...
The rich orangish color is from canthaxathin added to the feed as farmed fish is yellowish white in color without the canthax...

I love salmon, been eating it about four to five times a week minimum. I get mine from Whole Foods where its technically farmed but fed a lot better diet.

Farmed salmon, even from whole foods, is fed a soy-based diet, food they would never eat in nature. They are also exposed to the same heavy metals present in seawater.

I think a lot of people maybe don't realize that farmed salmon are "farmed" by just putting a big net in the ocean, not in some kind of closed environment...

I think in general fish that have the highest levels of mercury are going to be highest up on the food chain. The mercury becomes more and more concentrated in the fish as it goes up the food chain. Not sure where salmon fit into that.
