Best way to eat Eggs?

hard boiled eggs

A fool proof method for hard boiled eggs.

Cover eggs with 1 – 2 inches of water.

Bring to a boil and then turn off the heat
and let sit for 10 minutes.

Then drain hot water, fill with cold water
and ice and let sit for 5 minutes.

Drain cold water and pat dry you eggs.

Peeling hard boiled eggs is easier for eggs
that are ‘aged’ as farm fresh eggs will be
difficult to peal . . . I don’t know why, it’s just
is that way.

ive found this too....brown eggs DO NOT like to be hard boiled...

they don't even like to be cracked.....it like the membrane under the shell
is stronger or something...ehhh

I prefer to crack 10 eggs into a bowl, remove the yolks as im cracking, and then just cook them all in a nonstick pan with no oil or butter. I eat 10 egg whites and 2 cups of oatmeal every dayu for breakfast.
 
My girlfriend microwaves them, but they get super fluffy so I wouldn't recommend that if you are eating more than 3-4 egg whites.
 
The old thinking was that you had to cook them but it appears raw is the best way to get all the nutrients.

In the beginner plan, however, eggs are still included, and you can prepare them anyway you like them. I read that many years ago and for years I just used to crack them open and pour them in my mouth. Now I clock them in a pan always preserving the yolks. Nothing healthier than egg yolks. Organic non-gmo of course.
 
franks red hot sauce is key... eggs taste gross in large amounts to me without it... usually eat 6 whole...

putting them in a sandwich or, even better, a warm tortilla is great switch up too with some chopped up peppers and onions

Place eggs in a pot with water just covering them

Bring to a boil with lid on

As soon as it boils take it off the heat and let it sit.

6 minutes for soft boiled (*personal preference)

10 minutes for hard boiled

There's no better way to ruin an egg than to leave it on the heat when it's boiling.

BONUS method for the BEST scrambled eggs. Cook them off heat also. Get the pan hot with your preferred oil, crack eggs into it whole, then take off heat and stir as soon as they start setting. Place it on the heat for 10 seconds, take off for 30 seconds and stir/fold, on, off, on, off until you attain the perfect texture. DO NOT leave it on heat until it's done. Eggs are best cooked with residual heat, any way you cook them. Adding something cold to get them to STOP cooking is best, creme fraiche, butter, salsa, etc.

A little baking soda in the boiling water will help eggs to peel easier
 
Crack them in the pan with a bit of butter on medium high. Squirt a little sriracha on top. Then when you flip them the sriracha gets cooked into it and it's delicious
 
Also....scramble them with some green chilies, corn, and black beans
 
5 whole eggs 2 slices American cheese scrambled soft with some sea salt and black pepper

bfast: 2 eggs as an omelette in between 2 regularly fried eggs. Proscuitto or serrano ham on top. Sometimes i add half of a slice of leerdammer cheese under the fried eggs to make them crispy and the sond half i put into the omelette to make it more creamy. Top it with pepper, sriracha and mustard. Seems complicated but it doesnt really take much more time.
