There's no ideal preferred type - you use whatever you digest best. The big ones are Karbolyn, highly branched cyclic dextrin, and Gatorade powder.
I love pure honey in plain yogurt. It's my new snack.Pure local Honey.
Prefer ~30 minutes prior.
Not when you are working out (majority of us).
