The new updated GDA from Justin Harris's 1st Detachment Nutrition is said to be dosed higher and formulated to only need to be taken once or maybe twice a day. I am not entirely up on the science or ingredients of GDA's but this seems the only time I've seen that recommendation.
Berberine is dosed at 1500mg/serving vs 200mg which is what I saw in other products. ALA and cinnamon powder are included.
Is there anything in this that makes it work effectively dosing just once a day or is it just the same type of product mega dosed? I am not up on the half life of berberine so is this possible? Obviously metformin is typically once or twice a day but I know that is a separate drug.
Carbs aren't high for me now but I'd like to keep insulin sensitive and best shuttle what I am taking in. Seems berberine has a pretty good reputation on here for being effective.
Fasting glucose has been in the low 80's. With immediate post pre or pwo meals being 120s. I'm going to monitor and see how the GDA affects that.
