I was responding simply to your comment about hitting women. I have not seen the thread(s) you speak of, but can only imagine the nuggets of golden wisdom it holds. Shoot a woman? Shove her? Sit on her? Bind her to a table with zip ties? Sure, I could come up with 8 billion situations where those actions would be warranted under self defense or protecting others. Hitting a woman though? The only intention you could possibly have with that is to establish dominance or humiliate her. There are many other, easier ways to subdue her if the circumstances deem it appropriate, but only one reason to swing.
