Those numbers are insane. I don't know if I'm the best bargain shopper in the world, but (sans protein powder), I eat on $40-50/week. And I'm 5'8" 230lbs currently

I don't think I've ever spent that much in a week! I usually spend under 100. Dang, I can get 20 pounds of chicken breast and 7.5dz egss from sams for $50.

I come in around 150-175 a week. It's not a cheap lifestyle by any means!

Damn, I spend more that 50$ on chicken a week! Guess I need to get a SAMs card!

Lucky you... I pay $28 in average for 20 pounds of chicken breast with bones and I am going directly to the wholesale!!!

1.88lb boneless skinless chicken breast. Some rib meat and it cooks down a bit, but great deal. 7.5dz eggs 9.99

Yea man I have a student membership! I get my nuts there and almond butter as well. Eggs and chicken are a steal for sure!

Househould size is 3. Weekly food budget is $225.

I do all the shopping. I'm "cheap/frugal/king of coupons".

I also do not diet down as hard as some guys do.

I also fish and hunt a lot.

Nothing like taking a big ole hog and eating for weeks!

Oh wow...it wasn't until seeing these poll options that I realized I may be poor LOL :D

From the local Trader Joe's I usually have a weekly shopping trip of anywhere from $50-$100.

Damn....I spend about $150-200 every 2 weeks and I thought that was getting expensive. I'm only 23 but still how the hell is anyone spending $300+ every single week.

:yeahthat:

Yeah...I am really poor i guess...

Evan Centopani made a video of his weekly shopping trip, and it came in under $50. He bought chicken breasts, eggs, oats, potatoes, and broccoli. I can't remember if there was anything else, but I don't think so. This was based on 3-4 meals/day of solid food. (That is, it did not include 2 additional protein shakes.) Someone posted the video on PM awhile ago. So while you can spend a lot more, I don't believe it is necessary. Even if you add some red meat and yogurt for variety, it should still be easy to spend less that $100/wk.

I watched that shit too. Very cool and shows how far $50 and $100 can go.

Exactly! Around me chicked averaged 4-5 a pound and the crappy stuff is $2 a pound.

I have to watch every cent to only spend 80-100 a week

No more than 100 with turkey or chicken being the most expensive part. Most carb sources are fairly cheap rice, oats, etc. and I buy my veggies frozen so they don't cost as much.

Less than $250,lol. The meat and vegetables are not very expensive in my city. Can't imagine how people spend $1000 in food, rich guy!

225-275 per week. Wife, 6 year old and I.

Im pescatarian. I spend around maybe $35 dollars a week. Vegetable and fish are WAY CHEAPER than meat and chicken.

I can see People paying 50$ If they are a 150 pounds twink.

When your 225 pounds, Foods gotta come in. Its normal that it cost more.

Your eating more calories than 150 pounds twink, No wonder it cost more.
