Update: Two weeks into the dieting. I am working on the posing and I quite frankly suck at it. Two of the pics are just for fun, those two pics were taken when I got frustrated with practicing posing. I gotta give body builders and physique competitors a lot of credit. Posing is not as easy as you make it look on stage.

You could do really well. I say go for it, it could be something you really like and never knew, everybody needs a hobby!

Dude you really are in a great shape. I think you will (and I hope you do) place very well.

And they are a lot of pros on here that can help you with posing so if you have any questions just ask.

Thanks to all of you, I really appreciate the feedback! Being that I really had no clue about any of this what-so-ever I certainly did not expect all of the positive responses! The gym has always been my hobby, I love getting the opportunity to challenge myself on a daily basis! I love pushing myself as hard as possible, over coming the point that my mind would want to give up, so that I can find the true point at which your body can't go any further. I just had never thought about getting into the competitive side of things. I just always competed with myself. That being said, I have hired a pro to help me learn how to get the most out of the sport. It has been fun to see the changes in my body composition already. I am also having a good time learning how to pose even though its frustrating getting it right! Like I said, hats off to all the pros that make it look so easy!
