Anavar and being Diabetic

My wife just recently was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes so they put on an insulin regulator weekly. She was 163lbs and since the insulin she has dropped a dramatic amount of weight. She hates how skinny she has gotten. But we hear Anavar will have a negative effect on her if she were to take it with Anavar with diabetes. Anyone else have knowledge on this? She already has a hard time eating throughout the day. I was looking for a weight gainer protein for her as well.

No the anavar won't have any effect on her blood sugar directly.
It will definitely help with muscle retention if she is weight training
