edit: Not really the spot for this, but tech is tech lol:

Have any of you ever researched this?!

I know we are nowhere near the revival process yet, but considering how much technology advances decade to decade, I would expect it will only be a matter of 'when' not 'if'...We've already seen people like Gates and Musk state that the 'fountain of youth' is obtainable, with one of them questioning if it should be, not whether it will be. As long as the species continues to survive, it will continue to evolve.

They were able to revive 1 of 2 water bears that had been frozen for over 30 years...The surviving one even going on to full reproductive capabilities.

It looks to be between $28k-90k to be cryogenically frozen after death and per contract, storage/maintenance for 100 years.

My question, for those financially able, what is the downside of this in comparison to burial or cremation?! If it did not work you are where you were already - dead lol. But with continued advancements, you have the chance for a second life.

Would you get frozen at 80 years old and then revived and have to hang out in that shit body and continuously aging mental capacity or push the button at around 60 in hopes it all works out later?

I would think with how robotics and AI is coming that you would not have to live this second life inside the frail body...Even if I were to be implanted into a robotic core, I believe I would be more open to that, than having to live in the body that is going to perish in a matter of years regardless.

By that time, who knows where/what the brain could be paired with?!
