To be honest alot of sponsors are still using SAFEMAIL....my friend emailed a sponsor from gmail and he was told to use SAFEMAIL instead. I have a SAFEMAIL account and it's up and running.

From securenym we can not send lists to safemail as approximately 10% of gear users have filters on their accounts that will intercept our lists and send back a message saying the user does not exist. You do exist and when this was looked at by people in the industry they responded that.

1. It is unusual behavior that safemail first denied doing but in fact does. and also they ended by saying it should be a red flag as should an isreali company that has close ties to the US goverment.

Just so you understand how we discovered it is we did some large mailings to customers 6 months ago and sure enough over 10% of safemail accounts had the from line filtered. for a while we could use the cc and bcc and get it through, but safemail did close that loop hole.

we just can not afford the negative posts of 10% of safemail people who happen to not get responded to and report it on the boards. You see once a list has been intercepted and the message sent back that you do not exist there is no way to send any email to you as they put a complete block. we can get a non list message to you so we merely send you in response to your inquiry:

" We can not send to safemail or keptprivate accounts. Please use any other email provider."

Keptprivate is interesting as they just send back an email saying its "banned content"

Real keptprivate?

About 70% of our customers use yahoo, gmail, aol, and other free services.
some people use countermail, privacyharbor, and hushmail these days.

We do not care what you use besides safemail and keptprivate because as a personal user we just do not see a whole lot of risk.

Now sources using safemail? at a minimum they get what they pay for. Maybe a whole lot more!
