pirates bay site?

I am not very experienced with computers but a friend told me one could get any and all kinds of music for free on the pirates bay web site. Well I went to the site and downloaded bittorrent like it said but I still cant seem to download any music. If I click on an album that I want it starts the process but then says process failed etc...
After telling someone about this I was told there are better sites to get free music from that are easier to navigate and understand. Can anyone give me any advice on this subject? Would like to fill my mp3 player with a ton of metal but I aint trying to pay a fortune for it at itunes. Thanks in advance for any info and advice!

nothing wrong with using pirate bay, you can find everything there, as long as you stick to torrents that have been uploaded by VIP's you shouldn't have a problem.

you could try removing bittorent from your pc then re downloading it
this helped me once when i was having trouble,
pirate bay is very good i got all of the goon shows from there, be lucky

If your just looking for music, you can extract mp3's from youtube by downloading any of the free programs

Pirate bay is one of the best IMO just because it allows users to comment on whether the file(s) is worth a damn before you download and obtain viruses galore, which has happened to me on numerous occasions from other places.

I've heard only rumor of mpaa and ria using university ip's to troll... But you are likely to lose very few peers so why not block them too

PeerGuardian will help block known IPs of RIAA and other agencies. Then use UTorrent as your primary torrent program. If you can get in to a private tracker, even better. Demonoid every once and a while opens up registration.

Just search for torrent sites on google and you would get a lot of sites similar to pirate bay.

Pirate Bay is a good site...been using it for music and TV for about a year with no problems.

be sure to not seed the files after. while it doesnt help everyone else. it keeps it safer for you.

you could try to find a forum like this but for the type of music you like. they will usually have direct download links. then you dont have to mess with torrents at all

whatever your looking for, just google it with .torrent on the end and it will search through all the torrent sites for you and come back with matches same as doing a regular search on google, much easier way if your trying to find some un released or rare music

I use U torrent and then download from Pirate Bay. I like the fact there are comments on Pirate Bay so you can tell if a file is good or not.

utorrent with an ipfilter is what i use. the pirate bay rocks if you read the comments and stick to users with the cross and bones. make sure the file has plenty of seeders or it will take forever to d/l.
