Desktop needed

Need to buy a new desktop. Looking to spend < $1000. Will use for general home use, banking, web searches, etc. Gateway DX series seems to get some good reviews. Any recommendations?

You can build a suitable pc for those things for less than half of that. Plus the large computer manufacturers put tons of bloatware on their pc's. Let me know if you want some advice.

Get a linux box from dell or ubuntu or from lenovo... also, system78 is very good over all.

i either build one (best way)

or for the business i just go to costco and pick one up
costco usally only has decent working comps and there return policy is so good

brands don't matter much they all use the same internal components

HP, Dell, Gateway all make bad computers ok computers and good computers just depends on whats in it

as far as bloat i always wipe any new comp i get and do a fresh install of the OS so i know i have a clean system
