We have to accept they will come across stuff at an earlier age and as said they figure ways around stuff. Wish id had Internet porn when going through pubity. As said 8 is too young to be left unsupervised on the net but you can't be with them every second and the Internet is everywhere, but in some of these fucked up country's 8 year olds gave seen there parents murderd all types of shit so it's about perspective. I use this example as it's just something I read somewhere recently that stuck in my mind and made me think about how fucked up parts of the world are. I'm not saying it's ok to let your 8 year old be browsing porn and other adult content just realistically they will be exposed one way or the other probably

Well I would usually agree but in this case we busted him looking at the kind of stuff no kid should be exposed to. 14 is not to old for any kind of restriction in my opinion. Its called being a good parent and not wanting your child to be exposed to things that can potentially fuck them up while they are still developing.

Dont feel sorry for our boy feel sorry for all the kids that get abducted by creeps trolling the chat rooms looking for an easy target i.e kids then get sexually molested or disappear forever!!

Yeah poor kid, I must be a real jerk for trying to keep him safe for as long as I can for the things in my control.

It's kinda scary out there you try to everything you can and protect your children. When my daughter was younger she logged onto dicks.com to look for a softball bat only to hear her screaming it wasn't a softball bat. Since then we have put filters on the computers to make sure some of this doesn't happen again.
