Any good gyms in the Boulder Colorado area?

I'm going to be moving to boulder in about a week and just wondering if anyone knows of any good gyms in the area.. i don't want to end up at a crossfit place or some form of planet fitness thing so if anyone knows any just plain good old gyms let me know!!!

In Boulder proper the only gym in town seems to be 24hr Fitness (one of the nicest 24hr fitness's I've seen). Alternatively you could try: armbrustprogym.com - HOME it's about a 20-30 drive from Boulder depending on where in Boulder you live, but it's more of a "real" gym. In my opinion Boulder is a relatively cool place with the exception that it's mostly inhabited by tree hugging vegatarian druids... Enjoy...

Armbrust is awesome and may be worth the drive. If not 24 hour Fitness is great. Also there is a great Supplement store in Boulder as well.

I live down the street from armbrust but have yet to check it out.

I personally can grow at any gym, just go to the 24hr up there.

One Boulder Fitness is pretty good. Nobody in there most of the time unless you hit peak hours.

No hot chicks either....24hr fitness for poon fo sho

Armbrust is the best gym in the Denver area hands down. Worth the drive to check out on a guest pass, but the 24 in boulder has everything you could ask for pretty much.

24 hour fitness is usually prettyyyyy pathetic....never heavy enough dumbbells, that's for damn sure. smh

If you are serious at ALL about your training, go to Armbrust. Has to be one of the top 5 gyms in the country.

To the guy who lives down the street and does not train there, what are you thinking? It's not like they are expensive.

Long story short, make the drive from Boulder, it's worth it. If not for the equipment it's worth it for the insane amount of women that train there

Doesn't Phil Heath train at armburst? I know he lives in the Arvada/Wheatridge area. I personally go to lifetime fitness off 470 & I25, however thats a drive for you as well.

After some thought im defintly going to armburst it will give me the added motivation i need as well as help keep me out of hitting the boulder party scene to hard(just got out of a messy 7 year relationship and thats why im moving) Ill just have lots of time to get psyced up on my 30 miniute drive there each day!
