Try acetyl-l-carnitine (1-2g) perhaps with lipoic acid (300mg).

Some people get an energy boost from herbs like ashwaghanda, rhodiola, and ginseng.

Low-dose provigil (100-200mg) will certainly get her going, hopefully without headaches.
