Very Interesting guy. When I first got into bodybuilding in 2002, I remember him in the magazines. Great genetics. Used to stay up nights partying, specially around showtime. Probably could have been Mr.Olympia if he Dedicated himself to a greater degree.

He has a new documentary out. I am the real Deal

He is a great example of what top genetics can endure. He trained hard but by his own words was out partying 5 to 6 nights a week, being out all night. He overdosed on coke at one point. How many people could do that and still be a top 5 bodybuilder in the world? Like many others have said about him, what could he have accomplished in bodybuilding if he had been more dedicated to the lifestyle. Dorian himself told Chris he thought he could be Mr. Olympia...even tried to train him. That's actually when Chris had the severe infection in his spine and became critically ill.

I'm looking forward to watching this as well!

Agreed ^^ I like how Dave said something like it came too easy for you. I think didnt care because he genetics were so good or didn't ave the mental discipline, fortitude as Dorian. I guess well never know, but I theorize Chris could have beat Dorian, but he didn't. I'm going to go onto say Mental is a big part of this, and this shows how some guys wih maybe less genetics, Like Dorian beat out Chris, though extreme dedication, eating on the clock, not going off diet , Dorian said he had ten glasses of alcohol in like ten years during his Mr O reign. I guess well never know, but I do think mental genetics if you will, can beat someone more physically gifted, if they dont apply themselves as much. Some guys just have superior physical genetics and with extreme discipline, they can be beat, if the person with better physical genetics does not apply themselves. That's why I love bodybuilding, I take pride in my work. I beat out someone with better genetics this year on stage , alot of it due to my stage experience.

Chris was a Wildman back in his prime. Probably why he never reached his full potential but still managed to build an outstanding physique with all that partying.
