Gyms in Mississippi

Anyone here from Mississippi? I'm looking into relocating in central Mississippi. I've been looking into gyms but the closest well equipped gym appears to be in Ripley 2.5hrs away. I'll be in Kosciusko anything closer

Kosciusko, are you kidding me?!

I'm sure that I'm the only one here that has ANY idea where that is. You'd probably be lucky to even find a Snap there.

Where and what is 2.5 hr away?

What on earth brought you there,......certainly not a job??

It's between Jackson to the south and Starkville to the north; MS state university.

Kosciusko itself is Tiny and pretty isolated. A fairly new Walmart is probably its biggest employer. There's also a dairy plant there, but no mall, movie theater or anything that you'd find in a normal city.

Oprah lived there for a while, but other than a small street sign with her name you'd never know.

None of my business, but how did you hear even about Kosciusko and what would bring you there?!

Off season you get a lot of looks I'm sure, being 5' 6" and 280 ish. You'd be the talk of the town in that tiny city!!

I am from Mississippi just 2 1/2 hrs southeast of Jackson. I work offshore and have ran into or worked with many people from there over the years.

I currently reside in ms, nothing around your area bud. Jackson has a few decent gyms but that's a good drive for you around hour and 20 minutes. Good luck get out of this state the first chance you get! Lol

I'm retiring family has 278 acres I'm into breeding and showing dogs. Gonna built a high end kennel. Also wanted to focus on bodybuilding figure I have 2-3 left to compete. I can train without working but if there's no gyms within a hour drive I might put off moving until I'm done competing.
