Hcg dosage

Just got a script for hcg to be added to my trt. Instructions to inject 500 iu every 2 days. Dose that sound like a high dosage?

There have been studies lately saying that large amounts of HCG are not a problem but the consensus is that they are not required.

If the HCG is being using specifically for supplementation during HRT the frequency seems high not necessarily the dosage. From everything I've read doctors are all over the place on HCG but again it seems to be a forgiving compound regardless.
