i'm actually surprised more people haven't responded to this.
first, for the average person, winny probably isn't necessary.
for a competitor, it's almost a mainstay for prep. i've seen doses all over the map. that being said, with winny, less is better and safer. it doesn't come without sides for most people which is why all the responses above, i'm guessing. if she's not a competitor, no need to use it.
I'd say 99% of the gear questions on the boards are by a girl who has no idea how they work and some guy at the gym or a boyfriend suggests that it will be good for "cutting & toning up"
